Is it safe to have egg as breakfast nowadays or not?

Is it safe to have an egg as breakfast nowadays or not?

There is a doubt in everybody's mind that "Is it safe to have egg as breakfast nowadays or not?" It is fully safe nowadays, there is no harm to take it in breakfast.

Breakfast intensifies metabolism which helps in reducing more calories throughout the day.  Typically, breakfast should include various foods such as grains, protein, low-fat dairy products, fruits, and vegetables.

The egg is a readily available healthy breakfast:

Eggs are also at the top of the healthy breakfast list.  Because the egg is full of nutrients.  Apart from high-quality protein, vitamin B12 and vitamin D in eggs, antioxidants are also found.  You can cook it by boiling eggs, making an omelette or making bhurji.

Studies have shown that eating eggs at breakfast makes one feel calories and does not feel hungry again, which causes us to eat fewer in the next meal.  The use of eggs helps maintain blood sugar levels and insulin levels.

How an egg is good /bad for health,

We have all heard since childhood - be it Sunday or Monday, eat eggs everyday!

And, if it is a matter of eating the most perfect, then surely the race would have beaten the egg.

Associate Professor of Nutrition Sciences at the University of Connecticut, USA, Christopher Blesso says, "Eggs are something that has all the ingredients necessary for an organism to flourish."  So, it is obvious that it is more nutritious in it.

Eating eggs among other things gives your body more vitamins.  By adding eggs to the salad, we get more vitamin E.

However, there has been a controversy among experts about eating eggs for many decades.  Because there is high cholesterol in eggs.

Some people associate an egg with heart disease.  Egg yolk contains 185 milligrams of cholesterol, But as per the fixed US standard human requires 300 milligrams of cholesterol per day.

So, what does this mean, isn't egg an ideal food?  Do we get less and more harm by eating eggs?  Eating one egg a day helps prevent diseases.  'Sunday or Monday, eat eggs every day'.  You must have heard this line often.  Many people have also told you about the benefits and disadvantages of eating eggs.

But do you know how many eggs should be eaten in a day for good health and what is the right way to cook them?

A study conducted in China on about 1 million people suggests that eating one egg a day can reduce the risk of heart diseases.

Experts recommend eating eggs for good health.  But they also say that eating more eggs can be harmful.

 How many eggs to eat?

Most doctors recommend including eggs in your food because eggs are rich in nutrients.  They contain nutrients such as lutein and zeaxanthin in addition to vitamins A, D, B and B12.  These elements are very beneficial for the eyes.

Dietician Dr Frankie Phillips of Britain says, "One or two eggs can be eaten in a day."

They say that there is no fear even in eating more eggs.  But it should be kept in mind that if any food is eaten too much, then we will not get the nutrients of those other mines which we are unable to eat.

That's why dieticians often insist on taking a balanced diet.

"Eggs are a good source of protein, but we should also keep in mind that we take a lot of protein in the food beforehand. Two or three times more protein than needed can affect the kidney."

When evidence of cholesterol in eggs was found, the British Heart Foundation in 2007 advised eating only three eggs a week.

 Cholesterol

According to the recent advice of the National Health Service, "Although there is some cholesterol in the eggs, its quantity is less than the cholesterol in our blood from saturated fat."

In other words, cholesterol is not a big problem for eggs.  Cholesterol made from saturated fat is a big problem.  According to Heart UK, an egg contains about 4.6 grams, ie one teaspoon of fat.  But only a quarter of it is saturated.  That is to say, eggs do not affect our body's cholesterol level much.

Yes, if butter or cream is mixed in that egg then the matter becomes something else.

   Salmonella Bacteria

Former UK health minister Edwina Kuri said in December 1988 that most eggs produced in Britain contain Salmonella bacteria.

This bacteria is said to be dangerous for health.  Therefore his statement stirred up Britain.

After which Edwina had to resign from her post.

However, there was some problem with salmonella in eggs at that time.  By 1990, the producers of eggs had started a vaccination program.

Now thirty years later, Britain's eggs are the safest in the world - at least in the case of salmonella.

Most eggs found in the market now have a Lion Mark, which indicates that the hen that laid the egg was injected to avoid salmonella.

Only last year eggs with lion mark were declared safe for pregnant women and children.

Experts say that now the risk of dangerous bacteria in eggs is very less.  "So there is nothing to fear."

 How to cook eggs?

As far as cooking eggs is concerned, it should be made in a very simple manner or eaten in boiled form.

Most dieticians recommend that eggs should not be fried, as this increases the amount of fat and cholesterol in it.

Raw and lightly cooked eggs, such as mayonnaise and ice cream, are perfect.  Because in Britain they have lion mark and it is also confirmed that those eggs are of chicken.

If you still have a fear of food poisoning, then you can cook the egg completely and eat it.

How to store eggs?

Never buy broken or cracked eggs.  Because in such a situation there is a risk of them going to soil or bacteria.

https://healthiestbreakfast9.blogspot.com/2020/11/is-it-safe-to-have-egg-as-breakfast.html

BBC Good Food recommends that eggs should be stored in the refrigerator.

The white portion of the eggs can be stored in the refrigerator for three weeks, while the yellow part can be kept for three days.

Both should be covered with cling film.  Both can be frozen and kept for two months.

Many people will also know the trick to check whether the egg is fresh or not.  Take a bowl of cold water.  Add eggs to it.  If the egg sinks then it is fresh.  If it doesn't sink then it is less fresh.

They remain true for 28 days from the day of laying hen's eggs.

Along with this, it is important to clean the place where eggs are being made.

Allergies to eggs?

Many people are also allergic to eggs.  Children under the age of five years have more complaints.

Some symptoms of allergy to eggs:

Redness and swelling around the mouth

 stomach ache

 Vomiting

 Diarrhoea

But there is no evidence that this reaction proves to be fatal.  But if you are allergic, always consult a doctor.

Finally, Dr Phillips says, "He who has no such allergies. He can eat eggs in any form, but it is important to keep in mind how the eggs are made."

Is it okay to feed children eggs in summer?

Eggs are rich in other minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iodine, fatty acids and iron.  It is a common belief that eggs should not be eaten in summer.
This myth spread among us has been denied many times by most nutritionists and dieticians.

The truth is that egg is also a great source of many vitamins and nutrients, including protein.  It does not cause any harm to the body or intestine due to the heat or winter season.

Although, people believe this to be about adults who eat eggs during the summer season, but most mothers become concerned when it comes to laying eggs during the summer.  Their thinking is that it is not right to lay eggs during the summer, if the child does not fall ill, there is also the problem of indigestion and worry about acidity.
Apart from being a large source of protein, eggs are also a major source of vitamins A and D.  Which is necessary to strengthen the bone as well as to increase bone density.

Eggs are rich in other minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iodine, fatty acids and iron.  Iron is required for the development of red blood cells.  So you have to understand that egg is really an important food source for your child.
What do you think is more beneficial than not giving your baby eggs?  Many mothers choose other alternative sources of protein and refrain from laying eggs to their babies during summer or they give it at intervals of one day or even three days a week.

To talk about these reasons and myth, we talked to an expert about this.  We spoke to Dhvani Shah, naturopath and sports nutritionist to find out if mothers can lay eggs to their babies during summer?
She explains that 'eggs are slightly acidic and increase body heat.
However, most of the protein source leads to increase in body heat.  It is not just eggs.  This is a complete meal for your baby when fed with the appropriate amount of eggs.

Feeding two eggs a day is completely safe and there is no problem in the intestine as well.  But in some cases it also depends on the ability of the child.  It is a matter of seeing how many eggs he can eat and digest it well.  Because the digestive power of children is not the same as that of adults and this is why caution should be exercised when choosing foods for them.

If the body of a child is not compatible with those foods which are acidic or increase the heat in the body then should not be given.  But most children like to eat eggs and can digest them without any problem.

Therefore, if your child does not have any problem after eating eggs during the summer season, there is no need to stop.
